The Nissan Division sold a record number of vehicles throughout December and all of 2016. For just the month of December alone, the brand set a new record for the month with sales up 8.3 percent to reach 134,545 units. For the entire year, the brand set a new all-time record with sales up 5.5 percent to reach 1,426,130 units sold throughout 2016.
New December records were achieved by both the Rogue and the Pathfinder with sales of the Rogue up 52.9 percent to reach 40,477 and sales of the Pathfinder up 12 percent to reach 9,368 units. Additionally, the all-electric LEAF achieved a 41 percent increase to end December with 1,899 units sold.

- TITAN sales increased 331.8 percent to reach 4,396 units
- Versa sales reached 8,918 units
