The 2017 Nissan Pathfinder was recently evaluated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) in their New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) and it earned a highest-possible safety rating of 5-stars. Customers should look out for the release of this all-new model as it will be arriving sometime this fall. Its impressive safety is backed with standard features that include Forward Emergency Braking, Roof-Mounted Supplemental Curtain Air Bags, Child Safety Rear Door Locks, Nissan Advanced Air Bag System, LATCH System, Intelligent Cruise Control, Supplemental Front Seat-Mounted Side-Impact Air Bags, and Vehicle Dynamic Control and Traction Control System. A few of the available technologies offered on the higher trim levels include Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Around View® Monitor with Moving Object Detection. You can also opt for either 2WD or 4WD.
“This latest Pathfinder is designed to be everything customers want in a family adventure vehicle,” said Michael Bunce, vice president, product planning, Nissan North America. “Pathfinder delivers a safe and secure driving experience that is now augmented with our Nissan Safety Shield suite of technologies.”
