It’s getting hot in here!! Do you like bananas? How about chocolate? Yeah, we thought so! This week we’re going to teach you how to make the refreshing frozen chocolate-covered banana bites, and trust us when we say you don’t need to be a culinary genius to make them! They’re so easy to make and super yummy! So what are you waiting for? Take a peek below and tell us what you think!

What You’ll Need:

• 1 banana
• 1 heaping cup dark chocolate chips
• 2 Tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

• Slice the banana and place the slices on a tray. 
• Put the tray in the freezer until the bananas are frozen solid. About an hour.
• Place the chocolate chips and the coconut oil in a small microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup. Microwave for 30 seconds and then stir. 
• Microwave for another 15 seconds and stir again, until all the chocolate is melted and smooth.
• Put it back in the microwave for another few seconds if necessary. Don’t overheat. Set the chocolate aside to cool.
• When the bananas are frozen, dip them into the cooled chocolate and coat on all sides. 
• Let any excess chocolate drip off before setting the slice down on parchment or waxed paper. Put the slices back in the freezer right away.
• You can store the slices in a zip lock freezer baggie once the chocolate has hardened.

Many of us have been worried about keeping in shape during quarantine, but many of us haven’t thought about keeping our vehicles in shape during quarantine! I know, you’re probably wondering why your car needs to stay in shape if you’ve barely moved it. Well, the truth is, if you don’t maintain your vehicle during these months you’re going to run into issues down the road! So, what are you supposed to do to ensure your vehicle’s safety during this time? Great question! We’ve got all you need to know below! Oh, and if you need any other maintenance, our service department is open and following all CDC guidelines to ensure safety for our customers and employees! All you have to do is schedule an appointment now!

Tips For Maintaining Your Ride:

• Start the car at least once or twice a week. Make sure it gets up to full operating temperature before you shut it back down.
• Be sure to check under the hood for fluid and oil levels. It’s important to make sure that your oil is fresh and fluid levels like coolant and wiper fluid are full!
• While you’re under the hood, take a peek at your battery. Make sure it is maintained and charged at all times.
• Your vehicle’s tires tend to be overlooked, but right now is the perfect time to check your PSI! If you won’t be moving your vehicle, it might be a good idea to overfill the recommended PSI 3 or 4.
• Another good way to help with your tires PSI is to park your car on wooden blocks underneath the tires to keep the cement from drawing the air pressure out of them.
• If you’ll be storing a vehicle, it’s a good idea to clean your car before you store it, that will clean off any winter debris, salt, and dirt underneath the car and on the outside of the car.
• With a little extra free time, it’s a good idea to clean out your vehicle’s interior! Plus, that will prevent smells from building up.
• Do NOT set the parking brake if you’re going to park it for more than 30 days! The pads or shoes can seize to the drum or the rotor and cause problems down the road when you move it.
